SWEDEN'S Anja Paerson banked her first World Cup win of the season with a victory in the super-combined event in St Mortiz.

The two-time World Cup overall winner was first in the super-G and maintained this advantage with a solid slalom run securing a 47th career win

American Lindsey Vonn now leads the women's World Cup standings despite skiing out during the slalom - she had earlier placed 14th in the super-G.

Austria's Nicole Hosp finished second while Switzerland's Fabienne Suter claimed third.

Practice for tomorrow's downhill so cancelled after heavy snow and thick fog made conditions impossible.
