The Swiss skier was ahead after the first run and hammered home that advantage to beat Austria's Benjamin Raich, still the early leader in the overall giant slalom standings, by nearly half a second.
It capped off an amazing weekend for the 23-year old, who arrived in Colorado having only won two career titles.
He also won Friday's super combined and Saturday's downhill on the demanding Birds of Prey course.
It's the first time in nearly two-and-half-years that a man has won three consecutive races.
Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal, the last skier to achieve three in a row, produced a second run only bettered by team-mate Kjetil Jansrud to move into third.
Overall World Cup leader Didier Cuche was seventh as Raich and Janka narrowed his advantage in the standings.
