Brown, who took a year out from her Law degree at the University of Leicester in 2008, to prepare for the Paralympics in Beijing, brought home gold in the women's compound and will compete in same event in Serbia.
"I am really looking forward to the World University Games," said Brown. "I think it will be a fantastic experience and really great to meet other athletes from the different sports.
"University sport has given me a chance to compete at a high level and help improve my performance."
Having collected a glut of junior national titles as well as the 2007 BUSA (now BUCS) Compound Championships crown, Brown was fast-tracked onto the Paralympics development squad.
At 20, she was the youngest member of Team GB archery squad in Beijing.
As the current world champion in the Open Compound event, Brown will be competing in her first World University Games in Belgrade.
