All six Brits in the recurve event failed to reach the medal stages of the individual tournament.
Alan Wills, who won world bronze in Leipzig two years ago, lost to China's Wenyuan Chen in the last 16, while Simon Terry and Larry Godfrey bowed out in the third round.
British women Naomi Folkard, Charlotte Burgess and former Olympic bronze medallist Alison Williamson all lost in the second round.
And both the men and the women fell at the first hurdle in the team event, losing to Russia and Korea respectively.
Meanwhile, Liam Grimwood remains Great Britain's sole medal hope in the compound event and will face off with Spain's Jose Duo in Wednesday's semi-final.
The men's and women's compound teams faired better than their recurve counterparts defeating Australia and Canada in the first round.
But the men's team lost to America in the second round, while the women's team fell to Russia, leaving all British hopes pinned on Grimwood.
