19:19 (+3 GMT): An incredible day, I'm sure you'll agree. It doesn't take much for me to think of two massive highlights
Here's the stories of the day in words from Sportsbeat's David Jordan:
USA's Bryan Clay becomes first man to defend world indoor heptathlon crown.
Jessica Ennis adds the world indoor pentathlon title to her world outdoor heptathlon crown.
USA's Debbie Dunn cruised to 400m gold in Doha.
Dwain Chambers powers through the 60m final to upgrade from silver two years ago.
19:15 (+3 GMT):
So the final gold of the day goes to Australia's Fabrice Lapierre with a jump of 8.17m. He faults his final jump but he already had the medeal in the bag.
Silver goes to South Africa's defending champion Godfrey Mokoena courtesy of his last jump of 8.08m.
Meanwhile,
Australia's Mitchell Watt collects bronze - needing his final jump of 8.05m to claim the final podium place.
19:14 (+3 GMT): Unbelievable finish to this long jump competition! Sdiri has been in the medal places since the first jump but finds himself displaced in the final jumps and can't find his way back in. His final effort of 7.95m is no improvement and he finishes fourth.
19:13 (+3 GMT): And Australia's Mitchell Watt reacts in style to being pushed out of the medal positions - he jumps 8.05m to go third and all of a sudden, France's Salim Sdiri is fourth with one jump remaining. What can he do?
19:12 (+3 GMT): Mokoena into second! He jumps 8.08m with his final effort. Produced the goods when needed.
19:09 (+3 GMT): Just the men's long jump remaining tonight. Defending champion Godfrey Mokoena is in fourth at the moment. He's ready for his final jump though.
19:06 (+3 GMT):
No luck for Vlasic as she fails her third and final attempt at 6.05m. Still, defending her world indoor high jump title may come as some consolation for the Croat.
Silver goes to Spain's Ruth Beitia who made 1.98m while
USA's Chaunte Howard Lowe collects bronze on countback after also making 1.98m.
19:04 (+3 GMT): Second miss for Vlasic at 6.05m - one shot left.
18:58 (+3 GMT): Unfortunately, it does not good for Vlasic and she falls short.
Lapierre has just raised the bar again in the men's long jump - he goes 8.17m with his penultimate effort to extend his lead.
18:56 (+3 GMT): Defending champion Godfrey Mokoena is up for his penultimate jump in the men's long jump.
USA's Chaunte Howard Lowe is leading the clapping for Vlasic's first attempt at 6.05m. Nice bit of sportsmanship from the American.
18:54 (+3 GMT): Women's high jump final coming to its conclusion. Spain's Ruth Beitia and USA's Chaunte Howard Lowe have both failed all three attempts at 2.00m and the Spaniard will collect silver on the countback.
Vlasic is still going strong though. She's taking on 2.05m next with gold already in the bag.
18:51 (+3 GMT):
Gold for Chambers - 6.48 seconds is the quickest time in the world this year.
Great Britain score a second gold in Doha.
USA's Mike Rodgers pushed Chambers all the way in that one, he finished second in 6.53 while
Antigua's Daniel Bailey strikes bronze in 6.57.
18:49 (+3 GMT): Ready for the big one? The men's 60m. Chambers would seem to have gold in the bag with his form so far in Doha.
But you've still got to win the final. ![]()
18:47 (+3 GMT): Beitia fails first attempt at 2.00m. Howard Lowe fails first attempt at 2.00m........... Vlasic sails over first attempt at 2.00m.
The indoor world record is 2.08m (Sweden's Kajsa Bergqvist) - Vlasic has had four attempts at it already this season - I can feel another three in the pipeline here.
18:46 (+3 GMT): France's Salim Sdiri re-applies the pressure on Lapierre by equalling the Australian's furthest jump of 8.01m.
But Lapierre responds with an 8.09m effort - two jumps remaining in that men's long jump final.
18:45 (+3 GMT): But the Russian comes unstuck at 1.98m. She finishes fourth. The men's 60m is imminent!
18:40 (+3 GMT): Vlasic makes 1.98m at first attempt - Howard Lowe and Shkolina both fail first tries.
Shkolina has just failed her second attempt as well. But Howard Lowe makes it! The top three will move on to 2.00m - Shkolina has one last chance to make it the top four.
18:37 (+3 GMT): Zheng and Green have been dropped in the women's high jump - they fall short at 1.96m.
Beitia and Shkolina make it in their second efforts and Beitia has just cleared 1.98m at first time of asking.
18:32 (+3 GMT): Australia's Fabrice Lapierre just delivered the goods when it mattered! After two no jumps, he scores 8.01m to take the lead at the half way point.
Vlasic re-enters the women's high jump with success at 1.96m. USA's Chaunte Howard-Lowe is the only other competitor not to have made a mistake. She also makes 1.96m at the first attempt.
18:27 (+3 GMT):
Lolo Jones defends her world indoor 60m hurdles title with the third fastest time in history of 7.72.
Canada's Perdita Felicien strikes silver in 7.86 seconds and
compatriot Priscilla Lopes-Schliep collects bronze, 0.01 secs behind.
18:26 (+3 GMT): Good job she did make it into the final because Lolo Jones has just defended her title in style - with a new championship record of 7.72 seconds.
Fantastic performance.
18:23 (+3 GMT): France's Salim Sdiri and Australia's Mitchell Watt are tied first in the men's long jump - 7.93m.
Next up is the women's 60m hurdles. Lolo Jones only scraped through while Canada's duo of Felicien and Lopes-Schliep were the semi final winners.
18:20 (+3 GMT): Meanwhile, Sweden's Emma Green and China's Xingjuan Zheng needed all three attempts to pass the height. Svetlana Shkolina is yet to make a mistake though and looks good at the moment - can she challenge Vlasic?
18:18 (+3 GMT): Blanka Vlasic is still yet to err in the women's high jump as she passes 1.94m.
Plenty of errors from the rest of the field though! Iva Strakova, Nadiya Dusanova and Marina Aitova all failed in their three attempts at 1.94m.
18:17 (+3 GMT): Four more golds still to be decided this afternoon in Doha. The men's long jump, the women's high jump, the women's 60m hurdles and the men's 60m.
