Bolt apologies over marijuana comments
USAIN Bolt has apologised following an interview with a German newspaper in which he claimed marijuana use was widespread in Jamaica.

The three-time Olympic gold medallist has been caught up in a storm of negative publicity following his comments to German tabloid Bild.
He reportedly told them: "When you're a child in Jamaica, you learn how to roll a joint."
However, clearly learning from the problems that engulfed fellow Beijing headliner Michael Phelps earlier this year, Bolt has moved quickly to play down the criticism.
"I want to apologise to the Jamaican people if at anytime it may have come across that all young people roll a joint,'" said Bolt, in a statement issued through his manager Norman Peart.
"I would also like to urge the forthcoming stars to stay away from any kind of drugs, as it is not of any value to them or the sport you participate in."
Bolt also admitted that he tried marijuana as a child but said using drugs was not part of his lifestyle since taking up athletics.
