Live text commentary from day three of the 2010 World Indoor Athletics Championships in Doha

18:02 (+3 GMT): Murer really is looking good as she clears 4.80m at her first attempt.

17:57 (+3 GMT): Elena Isinbaeva will not be crowned indoor world champion after missing out at 4.75m in the pole vault for the third and final time. The Russian has looked shaky all weekend.

But Brazil's Fabiana Murer looks good as she clears 4.75m on her final attempt.

17:55 (+3 GMT):  Samson Oni has crashed out of the high jump competition! He looks pretty angry after failing to clear 2.28m for the third time.

17:51 (+3 GMT): The American's halt Russian dominance in the women's 4x400m relay to take gold!

Russia have to settle for silver in a tight finish.

Jamaica's Novlene-Williams leads her team to bronze.

17:45 (+3 GMT): And to confirm the rest of the long jump medals after Brittney Reese took gold:

 Portugal's Naide Gomes takes silver with 6.67m.

Brazil's Keila Costa takes bronze with a season's best of 6.63m.

And Meadows just missing out to take silver in the 800m.

The women's 4x400m relay is next as the medals are coming thick and fast now.

17:40 (+3 GMT): Belarusian Nadzeya Ostapchuk has won the women's shot put title by 36cm after throwing a massive 20.85m.

New Zealand's Valerie Vili takes the silver with  her throw of 20.49m.

Natallia Mikhnevich caps a great performance for the Belarusians with 20.42m to get bronze.

17:38 (+3 GMT):  American Brittney Reese is the new World Indoor long jump champion as no one else can reach her first jump of 6.70m. She can add that to her World outdoor title from last year.

17:31 (+3 GMT): Sudan's Abubaker Kaki takes gold in 1:46.23 minutes.

Boaz Kiplagat Lalang of Kenya has to settle for silver.

Poland's Adam Kszczot produces a great display to take bronze.

17:24 (+3 GMT): Such a shame Meadows couldn't hold on to take gold but she's looking in great form for the rest of the season.

Next up we've got the men's 800m.

17:20 (+3 GMT): Russia's Mariya Savinova takes gold with a storming run up the home straight in a time of 1:58.26 minutes.

Jenny Meadows ran a great race but couldn't hold on in the closing stages and will have to make do with silver.

American Alysia Johnson takes the bronze.
