Turner clocked 22.30 seconds as he got the better of a quality field that included world champion Ryan Braithwaite, former Olympic champion Felix Sanchez and world medallist Bershawn Jackson.

Turner looked super fluent over the ten flights of hurdles, just over 18 metres apart, opening up an early lead that he never looked likely to surrender.

"I was so tired and I was happy just not to fall on my face," said Turner, who also won the 110m hurdles.

"I feel in great shape. I had the winter off with an Achilles problem and I feel really refreshed now and fired up.

"I've got to build on this performance and carry things on for the European Championships and Commonwealth Games."
