OLYMPIC 110m hurdles champion and world record holder Dayron Robles has confirmed his appearance at next week's Aviva Grand Prix in London.

The Cuban is unbeaten in five races this year and heads the IAAF top list with a season's best 13.04 seconds - making him the hot favourite for gold at next month's World Athletics Championships in Berlin.

"I'm really happy with how my season is going so far and I'm looking to take this form to London and then to Berlin," said Robles.

"I have never raced in London before so I am excited to show the spectators what I can do and it will be the perfect preparation."

Robles will face both his fellow Olympic medallists, David Payne and David Oliver, in Crystal Palace while national champion Andy Turner - who won the recent European Team Championship title - leads the home challenge.
