USAIN Bolt refused to answer questions about training partner Yohan Blake after the youngster was named as one of five Jamaican athletes to fail a drugs test.

NO COMMENT: Yohan Blake competing at the Aviva Grand Prix in London refused to talk about reports of a positive drugs test
Bolt and Blake combined with team-mates from the Jamaican-based Racers Track Club to win the 4x100m relay at the Aviva Grand Prix at Crystal Palace but the yesterday’s news of positive dope tests continues to send shockwaves around the sport.
Asked if he’d discussed the matter with 19-year old Blake, double Olympic champion and world record holder Bolt replied: “Blake is alright."
When pressed on speculation that Blake may have unknowingly used a nasal spray containing a banned substance, he added: “I still don’t know anything about it. I’m not sure what it was. We will wait to the second test to find out.”
Blake - a former world junior bronze medallist, who ran a 9.93 second personal best at the recent Golden League meeting in Paris - refused to comment when asked whether he was among the five names to have tested positive.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport have named Blake, 200m runner Marvin Anderson, Commonwealth 100m champion Sheri-Ann Brooks and 400m runners Allodin Fothergill and Lanceford Spence as the five athletes to fall foul of dope tests.

It's like the saying goes -
It's like the saying goes - where there's smoke, there's fire. This reminds me of when Marion Jones kept quiet then later denied being a dirty sprinter when all those closest to her were using. We all know how that turned out. From what I have read, Bolt cut his time by 0.50 seconds in one year. I am an experienced sprinter and those who are in the track and field world KNOW what this statistic means. Just a matter of time.
no second chances
although i agree with the sentiment of innocent until proven guilty in this case, i also believe that if an athlete in any sport is caught taking performance enhancing drugs they should be banned for life. cheating should not be punished with leniency. other competitors should also come out to condemn the use of drugs.
Innocent until proven
Innocent until proven guilty. They're all on something anyway. Why not legalise it and see what happens
In my opinion as to train
In my opinion as to train their wards - a personal matter for each coach, asking him about this once wildly.
drugs ban
If any athlete is found to have taken performance enhancing drugs then they should be banned from competing for life. This rule should have been applied from the very beginning that the problem first started.
Suddenly he goes quiet about
Suddenly he goes quiet about drugs. If Blake has tested positive, Bolt should condemn him with everything he has.
