The American world indoor 60m hurdles champion is the first international athlete to be selected for the unique event, featuring teams from Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff, Gateshead, London, Manchester, Plymouth and Sheffield.
"It's going to be great competing at Super8 in Glasgow and it's an honour to be invited as one of the ‘overseas' competitors," said Jones.
"The last time I competed in Glasgow was earlier this year at the Aviva International Match and I really enjoyed the experience.
"I think the city versus city format will encourage some healthy rivalry between the British athletes and encourage people from different areas of Britain to really get behind their respective home-town teams."
Jones joins world 800m bronze medallist Jenny Meadows and Olympic 400m hurdles bronze medallist Tasha Danvers in committing to the event, which debuted in Cardiff last year.
She also confirmed she will compete three days later at the Aviva British Grand Prix in Gateshead, part of the IAAF's new Diamond League schedule.
