The 28-year old was one of six British medallists at August's World Championships in Berlin, claiming bronze in the 800m.
And having finished fifth in her last World Indoor Championships in Valencia two years ago, the Wigan athlete is expected to pick up another medal in Qatar.
But Meadows is adamant she will find sufficient preparation domestically at the Aviva International Match in Glasgow on January 30 and the Aviva Grand Prix in Birmingham on February 20 as well as the British trials in Sheffield on February 13 and 14.
"I'm not going to be racing outside of Britain because I think we have great tracks and facilities here," said Meadows.
"I have three races before the world indoors in Glasgow, Sheffield and Birmingham and I don't feel like I need to go anywhere else.
"I want to carry on with the image of associating me with the podium and that starts in Glasgow and will hopefully go right through to Doha."
Although Meadows' medal in Berlin was her first major individual prize, she had been threatening to break through on the international scene for a numbers of years with victory at the European Cup in 2008 highlighting her potential.
But while she is the first to admit she was unable to handle the pressure in previous years, Meadows insists she has gained the experience to cope with the hype of major competitions.
"Being a favourite sits really well with me now," said Meadows.
"In Berlin I had the pressure to medal. A couple of years earlier I was fifth in the final of the world indoors but I was ranked third and I couldn't cope with the pressure of being a medal favourite.
"But I've learnt how to cope with that pressure and now I want to medal at every Championship I compete in.
"I think I had that image of ‘Jenny Meadows, she's a hard worker, gutsy but come the major championships she gets knocked out in the semi finals', and that's the image I had created through my performances."
