In Kellogg's last international tournament, the pair looked likely to go out in style after sailing through to the semi finals with three wins from three Group B matches.

But the British duo's run came to an abrupt end at the hands of Danish number one seeds Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen on Saturday.

The Danes, who beat Kellogg and Clark in October's Denmark Open final, were pushed hard but eventually came through 21-13, 21-17 in 50 minutes.

Nielsen and Pedersen will face Valiyaveetil Diju and Jwala Gutta after the Indian pair defeated Poland's Mateusiak and Nadiezda Kostiuczyk 21-19, 21-11 in the second semi-final.
