England's Ouseph to open World Championships

World Badminton ChampionshipsENGLAND'S Rajiv Ouseph will open next week's World Championships in Hyderabad.

The world number 24 and two-time national champion takes on Nigeria's Ola Fagbemi in the men's singles first round.

European champions and 11th seeds Anthony Clark and Donna Kellogg will be the second British players in action on day one when they tackle Israeli mother and son partnership Misha and Sveltana Zilberman.

Former world junior silver medalists Chris Adcock and Gabby White face Korean 15th seeds Yeon Seong Yoo and Min Jung Kim in the evening session.

Meanwhile, Scotland's Susan Egelstaff takes on Anu Nieminen while team-mate Alistair Casey plays Stilan Makarski.
