Clark and Olver reach next round in Birmingham
ANTHONY Clark suffered mixed fortunes in the second round of the Yonex All England Championships crashing out of the men's doubles with partner Nathan Robertson.

The English pair, who won the Singapore Open last June, lost to seventh seeds Zhendong Guo and Chen Xu in straight sets 21-14, 21-11
But former European champion Clark came through his mixed doubles match with new partner Heather Olver against Sheng Mu Lee and Yu Chin Chien 21-18, 22-20.
Overall it was a disappointing day for the English players with Jenny Wallwork and Gabrielle White losing out in the women's doubles to sixth seeds Miyuki Maeda and Satoko Suetsuna 21-23, 21-9, 21-8.
While top seeds from China Jing Du and Yu Yang looked impressive as they knocked out Russia's Valeria Sorokina and Nina Vislova 21-8, 21-12.
In the men's singles England's number two Andrew Smith saw his tournament end as he lost at the hands of Indonesia's Taufik Hidayat 21-18, 21-14.
Number one seed Chong Wei Lee from Malaysia had no such trouble as he overcame Indonesia's Sony Dwi Kunncoro 21-11, 21-17.
Meanwhile, China's top seed in the women's singles Yihan Wang came through safely against Japan's Yu Hirayama in straight sets.
