Clark and Robertson capture Singapore Open
ANTHONY Clark and Nathan Robertson upstaged the odds to steamroller Olympic champions Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan and lift the Singapore Open title.

MAJOR UPSET: Nathan Robertson and Anthony Clark pull off shock victory over Olympic champions to lift Singapore Open title
The former European silver medallists rolled back the years as them romped past the 2007 world champions 21-12, 21-11 in just 26 minutes.
It is the first time the England duo have lifted a Super Series title together and their first international victory since reviving a partnership which previously brought a silver medal at the European Championships in 2004.
"We just played our best game today," said Robertson - who captured mixed doubles Olympic silver with Gail Emms at Athens 2004.
"It was close to perfect as I think we made just two errors in the whole match. I don't think anyone will underestimate us any more after this. It feels fantastic."
Since their Olympic triumph last summer Kido and Setiawan have won the China Masters, Denmark and French Open and the Asian Games and are the dominant force in men's doubles.
But the unseeded England pair, who are ranked 19th in the world, built on a 17-10 lead to take the first game on their fourth game point and were just as dominant in the second to clinch victory on their third match point.
Now Robertson, 32 last month, and 31-year-old Clark, head for next week's Indonesian Open in buoyant mood as they look to overhaul England's highest-ranked pair of Robert Blair and Chris Adcock, who are 14th, and close in on a place in the world's top ten.
