Plymouth Raiders ravage disappointing Worcester Wolves
AIRWAVES Plymouth Raiders savaged a toothless Worcester Wolves 98-76 in group four of the BBL Trophy at the Pavilions last night.
Raiders led from start to finish, retaining control of their destiny in the competition.
Back-to-back wins will mean Raiders top the three-strong group and clinch a spot in the semi-finals of the Trophy, which they famously lifted in Newcastle in 2007.
Wolves, back in the league, won 97-93 on their last visit to Plymouth, but a repeat upset last night was never on the cards.
"I thought it was a well-rounded performance tonight," said Gary Stronach after the final whistle.
"We set the tone defensively and it was back to basics really, and back to winning-mode."
