ROB Yanders inspired Scottish Rocks to a 94-82 home victory over MK Lions which moved them top of the British Basketball League.

The visitors took a narrow advantage into the fourth quarter but joint top scorer Yanders turned on the style when it was needed to quickly open a lead they built on and never lost.

London Capital's miserable run continues after a long road trip to the south west ended with another defeat, 102-79 at the hands of Plymouth Raiders.

Gary Stonach's team dominated throughout but new Capital American signing, Duane James, continues to impress in only his third game. He top-scored with 36 points.

Title challengers Everton Tigers, who beat the Rocks on Friday and moved top of the table with a win over London one day later, can regain their place at the summit, if they beat Worcester Wolves on Wednesday.
