GLASGOW Rocks continued their impressive mid-season form to secure their fifth win on the bounce at Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders on Saturday night.

The Riders provided little threat to the Scottish side as the Rocks dominated from the first quarter to win 87-66.

Jessie Sapp starred for the Scottish outfit with 24 points while Rob Yanders netted 23 and Mike Copeland another 17 as the Rocks ran riot in the East Midlands.

Elsewhere, Worthing Thunder progressed to seventh after a 90-85 defeat of bottom club Essex Pirates.

The Pirates had been handed a heavy defeat at leaders Sheffield Sharks on Friday but fought hard to establish a one point lead at half time.

But Evaldas Zabas led the Thunder's charge in the second half, with 22 points, as Worthing turned round the score and held on for the points.

Elsewhere, Everton Tigers booked their place in the BBL Trophy quarter finals with an emphatic victory at PAWS London Capital.

Flo Larkai top-scored with 20 for the Tigers as they swept to a 106-62 win.
