GREAT Britain coach Chris Finch admits Mike Lenzly and Dan Clark are only 50/50 for be involved for the start of their Olympic campaign this weekend.

50/50: Mike Lenzly could miss out on Team GB's opening match against Russia in London 2012 this Sunday

Lenzly and Clark were both injured in recent warm-up games and Ogo Adegboye is standing by should either fail to prove their fitness.

"Mike and Dan are both going through pretty extensive fitness testing today," said Finch.

"Dan has a severe ankle strain and Mike has a slight tear in his calf. "We're giving them every chance to be fit and they are extremely committed to their recovery process and we'll make a decision as late a possible. They are key players for our team.

"Both are 50/50. We have to finalise the team by 10am on Friday and we can make any replacements at that time.

"We've kept one alternate, Ogo, and we have the ability to call in others players who had been in training camp until a couple of weeks ago.

"We've got people on standby and ready. We feel there is a good chance that one of two players will be in and in that case we have Ogo ready to go.

"It's not ideal but we've got to make do and can't get hung up on it."

Finch's team have lost ten of their 12 warm-up games but Finch insists he still feels his side are ready to be competitive in Team GB's first Olympic appearance since 1948.

Great Britain open their campaign against Russia on Sunday and face further games against Australia, Brazil, China, Russia and Spain.

"I'm not in the business of making predictions. When the draw was made I really liked our group but it's going to be tough," he added.

"There are teams in there we can beat when we play well and that's what we have to focus on now.

"Which might not 'out talent' a lot of teams so we have to 'out tough' them.

"We're going to compete and give ourselves a chance to win some games. With the injuries we have and the group we are in, it would be boastful to say we're confident."
