Sharks move two points clear in BBL Championship

BBL Championships SHEFFIELD Sharks secured a two-point advantage at the top of the BBL Championship with a narrow win over Worthing Thunder.

Sharks edged their rivals 105-100, while nearest rivals, Newcastle Eagles, were not in action.

Ryan Patton drained 26 points for the Sharks while Thunder's Reggie Bratton netted a game high 28 points.

Elsewhere, Worcester Wolves remain in play-off contention as Rory Middleton's 27 point contribution secured them a confident 90-75 home win over Glasgow Rocks.

Jason Johnson - with 17 points and 11 rebounds - was the star for Leicester Riders, as they beat Essex Pirates 82-63.
