The 21-year-old, who collected 2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival silver, has enjoyed a superb season to date, collecting K1 1000m gold and K1 500m silver at the Poland World Cup.

She also collected two bronze medals at the European Championships in Germany and will be among Great Britain's major canoeing hopes at the London 2012 Olympics.

She will be joined in Dartmouth by two-time Olympian Lucy Wainwright and Lani Belcher, who will team up in the K2 500m and 200m events.

And Jess Walker, Louisa Sawers and Hayleigh Mason will join Cawthorn in the women's K4.

In the men's kayak class, the stand-out crew for Great Britain will be the MK4 1000m who are focused on making their first World Championship final in over 25 years.

Great Britain's, Olympic and World Champion, Tim Brabants will not be present in Dartmouth this year, as he is taking a year out from competition to concentrate on his medical career.
