GREAT Britain's Olympic canoe sprint squad has been increased to ten - just a day after nine athletes were officially selected for London 2012.

Olympic champion Tim Brabants headed up the announcement of the nine-strong team on Thursday however it will balloon to ten after Britain were awarded a women's host nation place.

Who will fill the spot has not been confirmed with the GB Canoeing International Panel set to meet on Monday June 25 to decide who will take the host nation place.

Four women have been selected so far - Jessica Walker and Rachel Cawthorn, who will compete in the K1 200m and K1 500m respectively, and Angela Hannah and Louisa Sawyers, who will join them in the K4 500m.
