Bronze for GB quartet at Euro Sprint Champs
THE British quartet of Jess Walker, Rachel Cawthorn, Louisa Sawers and Hayleigh Mason have captured Great Britain's first ever European Sprint Championships medal by taking bronze in Brandenburg.

SWIFT PROGRESS: Rachel Cawthorn continues her excellent progress through the ranks and helps GB to K4 gold in Germany
They teamed up in the four-woman kayak to finish third behind Hungary and hosts Germany in the 200m.
The foursome have not finished yet though and will bid to go one better when they compete in the 500m on Sunday, while Cawthorn will also compete in her single event, having come home fourth in her heat.
"The real test for us will be the 500m on Sunday because that is the Olympic class," said 20-year-old Cawthorn.
"As for my single event, the K1, I just try to keep my goal as reaching the final and then just to race my best race.
"The World Championships in Canada in August are the main aim for me this year; the World Cups were like training and this is the next step," added Cawthorn.
"A couple of the girls who have been racing in World Cups are not here but the top few - the medallists - tend to be European.
"After the Olympics, everything changes around this year so it is a really good year to get in there and establish myself."
