Britain off the mark in Vancouver
GREAT Britain have got their World Championship hopes back on track with the narrowest of victories over Norway.
The quintet of Aileen Nelson, Michael McCreadie, Tom Killin, Jim Sellar and Rosemary Lenton lost their opening fixtures to Canada and the USA.
In both of those instances the five Scots were comprehensively beaten, going down 10-2 to hosts Canada, before suffering another 10-6 heavy lost to the USA.

But Team GB, who took silver in 2006, adding to gold in both 2004 and 2005, have kept their hopes alive with a 9-8 win against their Scandinavian opponents.
The Brits were in complete control until Norway mounted a strong comeback and claimed two points in the final end
Great Britain currently lie in joint fifth position with one win and two defeats, alongside Canada, Korea and Norway.
Leading the way are Germany who have four wins from four matches played, while Italy have three wins and one defeat from their four matches.
Great Britain have six matches still to play with Sweden up next. Anything but victory will make qualification for the play-offs difficult with only the top four qualifying.
