Rosemary Lenton has been dropped leaving Tom Killin, Angie Malone, Michael McCreadie, Aileen Neilson and Jim Sellar to contest selection in an all-Scottish squad.

Great Britain won silver at the last Paralympics in Turin but missed out on the medal round at the World Championship in Vancouver earlier this year.

Canada won gold while Britain settled for fifth, beating Norway in a play-off that ensured automatic entry to the next worlds.

"It is always difficult to make these types of decisions, however I feel we have selected the best athletes available to work towards success in Vancouver," said Derek Brown, British Curling's performance director

"The athletes selected know there is no room for complacency as selection for this squad does not in itself guarantee a place on the Paralympic team."

Head coach Tom Pendreigh vowed his slimmed down team would back bounce from their disappointing results earlier this year.

"The squad will undertake an intensive training and competition schedule between now and the final selection date and I am looking forward to leading the squad in their preparations for Vancouver," he said.
