GB hopes hang by a thread in Vancouver
GREAT Britain face a do-or-die clash with Korea at the World Wheelchair Curling Championships, as they bid to keep their medals hopes alive in Vancouver.
The all-Scottish quintet crashed to a disappointing 11-5 defeat to Sweden leaving them second from bottom in the standings, with five games remaining.
Michael McCreadie, Rosemary Lenton, Aileen Nelson, Jim Stellar and Tom Killin are bidding for GB's third world crown in six years but face a mountain to climb, having lost three of their opening four matches.
Having suffered defeats to host nation Canada, as well as the USA, Great Britain got their hopes back on track with a narrow win over Norway, but defeat to Sweden has left their chances hanging by a thread.

Korea have won two games from their opening five matches and currently lie sixth, while Germany still top the pile, having won four of their five matches played.
Meanwhile, at the World University Winter Games in Harbin, China, the women face a tie-breaker with the Czech Republic, after both teams finished the round-robin stage with the same record of five wins and four defeats.
But all hope of qualilfication for the boy is lost with three wins and eight defeats with just one match to go against Switzerland.
