On Wednesday, Wales officials issues the organising committee with a deadline of last night to assurance them that both the athletes' village and the venues would be fit for purpose.
Scotland had already stated they would delay their departure and they have since been joined by Canada and New Zealand.
England however have confirmed they will be pressing ahead as originally scheduled and their first athletes are due in the Indian capital today.
Earlier today Scotland announced they have new grounds for optimism following the intervention of Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit.
And Wales have now announced they will set about finalising their preparations for the Games as usual.
A Team Wales statement read: "Further to the statement issued by Team Wales yesterday, Team Wales would like to advise all media that the Commonwealth Games Federation has received assurances from the Delhi 2010 Organising Committee that all venues and village are fit for purpose.
"We are confident in the assurances that have been provided. The advance party will now be moving into our accommodation and we look forward to welcoming our athletes in the coming days."
Meanwhile, Commonwealth Games Wales chair Anne Ellis admitted the athletes' village is far improved from the condition it was in a week ago.
"A week ago it was a building site but a lot of work has been done," she said. "The food zone is and up and running, as is our tower block and it's very comfortable for the athletes."
