Jack Laugher, just 15, claimed one metre springboard gold at the World Junior Championships to become Britain's first gold medallist at the event in 11 years.

The Harrogate-based diver - who recently won the European junior title in Helsinki - scored 440 points to finish well ahead of American Bryce Kline and China's Sheng Li, who competed the podium.
