Swain and Robinson-Baker retain British title
BEIJIING Olympians Ben Swain and Nicholas Robinson-Baker have claimed their second successive British crown with a convincing performance in Sheffield.
The City of Sheffield duo, who came seventh in the 3m synchro pair final in Beijing, were in control from start to finish in the same event to claim gold.
Swain and Robinson-Baker unveiled three new dives on their way to victory, to achieve a total score of 365.28 points.

"It was great to get out there and compete for the first time since Beijing," said Swain. "Our new dives were ok and we know what we need to do to make sure we score higher when we use them next time.
"We have been doing a lot of weight work and fitness training to make sure we can continue to compete on an international stage."
The 1m event saw Oliver Dingley of Harrogate District retain his title by the narrowest of margins in the final to take the gold medal by just one point.
Dingley finished with a total score of 324.20 just missing out on the recommended score for the World Championship squad of 330 points.
Silver went to Tom Owens (City of Sheffield) with a score of 323.15 and bronze went to Callum Johnstone with 322.15.
