Aldridge spent just nine minutes in the dock at Bromley Magistrates' Court before the common assault charge was dismissed through lack of evidence.
The 28-year old - who came eighth with Tom Daley in the 10m synchronised event at the Beijing Games - claimed the allegation had 'ruined my reputation.'
Aldridge was dropped from the British diving team after Beijing, incensing officials with a verbal attack on the then 14-year old Daley.
He accused his partner, who last year won the world title and is due to compete at this week's Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, of being out of form and distracted by the attention he received during the Olympics.
Aldridge's final British appearance was a 12th place finish at last year's European Championships, when most of the top British divers were absent.
However, he has vowed to recapture his form to earn another shot at the Olympics at London 2012.
Meanwhile, Daley expects to receive the results of an MRI scan tomorrow morning after a reported triceps tear prevented him from defending his European title.
He is keen to compete in the first ever Youth Olympics but his coaching team will be looking to the forthcoming World Junior Championships and October's Commonwealth Games.
