McCorkell on track for Vancouver, says coach
JENNA McCorkell is half way to transferring her domestic form on to the international stage at next year's Winter Olympics in Vancouver, according to coach Yuri Bureiko.

HALFWAY THERE: Jenna McCorkell is making good progress towards the Winter Olympics, says coach
The British number one will get her campaign under way on Thursday at the Finlandia Trophy in Vantaa, bidding to improve on her sixth-place finish last season.
McCorkell, who has six British titles to her name, booked her place at Vancouver 2010 courtesy of impressive performances at Skate Canada and the European Championships last year, where she was placed third and fourth respectively, after the short programme.
And Bureiko believes McCorkell can spring a few surprises at next February's Winter Olympics, provided she can demonstrate similar consistency in the long programme this season.
"Really Jenna's goal was to get consistency in her short programme last season and then focus on the same for her long programme this season," said Bureiko, a world junior silver medallist for the Soviet Union in 1981.
"I believe we have achieved this and I'm looking forward with great optimism for this season."
