PORTSMOUTH put their off-field problems aside as Hassan Yebda's second-half penalty handed them victory against Burnley.

The Algerian midfielder converted from the spot, securing Pompey's fifth win of the season after Burnley's Martin Paterson had equalised Frederic Piquionne's opener.
Having become the first Premier League club to go into administration earlier in the week, Portsmouth are facing almost certain relegation from the top flight as the Premier League decide an appropriate points deduction.
But the south coast club have fought bravely against the inevitable all season and were no different at Turf Moor with Piquionne popping up at the front post to turn in Danny Webber's cross in the 25th minute.
Burnley have their own relegation worries and struck immediately back as Paterson lobbed England goalkeeper David James to equalise.
But after Jamie O'Hara had hit the bar with a long range effort and had a penalty saved by Burnley keeper Brian Jensen, Yebda made sure of the points with a confident penalty.
Earlier on Saturday, Manchester City dented Chelsea's title challenge as they stole all three points with a 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge.
In the London club's first home defeat in the Premier League this season, Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy were the stars for City, each scoring twice, while Chelsea's double came through England midfielder Frank Lampard.
The first Premier League meeting between Italian managers Carlo Ancellotti and Roberto Mancini was overshadowed by the drama of the first clash of John Terry and Wayne Bridge, whose personal problems have dominated front pages of late.
As it turned out, a shunned handshake from Bridge was as tense as that showdown got with Chelsea's vulnerability in defence more likely to feature in the Sunday morning backpages.
Goalkeeper Hilario was particularly suspect between the sticks and was found wanting for Tevez's equaliser and Bellamy's first goal to make it 2-1 early in the second half.
Tevez notched his second from the penalty spot with 15 minutes left, dispatching with confidence after Juliano Belletti clumsily tripped Gareth Barry from behind in the box, earning a red card for his misdemeanour.
Minutes later Chelsea's ten men became nine as German midfielder Michael Ballack picked up a second yellow card for reckless lunge on Tevez and Bellamy completed Chelsea's nightmare, converting Shaun Wright-Phillips low cross late on.
Title-rivals Arsenal moved to three points behind the league leaders in third after recovering from a goal down to beat Stoke City 3-1 at the Britannia Stadium.
Injury time goals from Cesc Fabregas and Thomas Vermaelen sealed the victory for the Gunners in a game that was marred by a horrendous injury to young winger Aaron Ramsey who was stretchered off with a suspected broken leg after a challenge from Ryan Shawcross.
With the scores tied at 1-1 courtesy of goals from Stoke's Danny Pugh and Arsenal's Niklas Bendtner, Shawcross saw red for the challenge and departed the pitch in tears.
Ramsey, meanwhile, departed the pitch on a stretcher with an oxygen mask over his face.
Elsewhere, James McFadden's first half penalty saw Birmingham City take the points at home to Wigan Athletic with a 1-0 win and Bolton Wanderers leapfrogged Wolverhampton Wanders in the table after Zat Knight's strike was enough for a 1-0 victory.
