KAT Driscoll admits she can take inspiration from the bronze-medal winning performance of Great Britain men's gymnastics team.

HOPING FOR MORE: Kat Driscoll takes inspiration from stunning men's team performance

Louis Smith and co stunned London 2012 with Britain's first men's team medal in the Olympics since 1908.

And Kent-born trampolinist Driscoll says their performance has given her the belief that she can go one better than the fourth-place she achieved at the test event earlier this year.

"Watching them win their medal and then going to training the next morning made training so much easier," said the 26-year-old.

"It makes you believe you can win a medal because they weren't expected to but they still went out, stood up and they delivered.

"It makes it feel a little more real and that the possibilities are there, and you just need to go out and grab them.

"I'm pretty confident in my performance in trampolining but I know there are gymnasts out there better than me.

"I just want to qualify for the final first of all. I want to go out and deliver two solid routines in the preliminaries, make the top eight, and then it goes back to zero and everyone starts on a clean sheet.

"I need to concentrate on myself, deliver a routine and see where it puts me."
