Oldham is considered one of the hottest medal prospects in Team GB's 39-strong squad in Singapore, having won three titles at the European Junior Championships in Birmingham earlier this year.
The 17-year old progressed to the all-around final in second place - behind only Japan's Yufa Kamoto - and also booked his spot in four individual apparatus finals - the floor, horizontal bars, parallel bars and pommel horse.
"I was really happy to start like that. I was quite nervous coming into the competition because I knew I had pommel horse first and that is a difficult one to start with," said Oldham, who also won two golds at last year's European Youth Olympic Festival in Tampere, the inspiration behind the first-ever Youth Olympic Games.
"After that I just kept improving and that really gives me a lot of confidence ahead of the all-round final.
"Qualifying in second means that I will be in the top group and that is a good confidence boost for me."
