The World Young Player of the Year scored his 30th goal for England after just six minutes, in a match that marked his 43rd appearance for the national team.
After a defeat to the Netherlands earlier on Thursday, the win was a much-needed boost for England who will not play another match before the World Cup in March.
England's lead was quickly backed up by a second goal from Richard Mantell, and the Dutch were unable to find a way back into the match.
And as play resumed after half-time James Tindall put his team firmly in command of the game, meeting Jonty Clarke's cross at the far post and knocking it in to make it 3-0 to England.
The Netherlands did find some form in the closing stages and managed to get on the scoreboard thanks to Taeka Taekema, but the goal was little more than a consolation for the Dutch as they ultimately went down 3-1.
"This was a great result against quality opposition in our last competitive game before we arrive in Delhi for the World Cup," said England manager Andy Halliday.
"Confidence is high among the group and we're thoroughly looking forward to the different challenges the World Cup in India will present."
England's first World Cup match will be against Australia on February 28.
