GREAT Britain skipper Angela Taylor notched a sparkling double as Team GB made it three wins from three as they bid for World Championship gold in Torre Pellice, Italy.

The 21-year-old, who is based at the University of New Hampshire having been hand-picked for a four-year scholarship, chalked up her fifth and sixth goals of the tournament as Great Britain overcame Denmark 3-1.

It was Taylor who got the ball rolling for Team GB, firing home after seven minutes to put her side a goal to the good.

And it was not long before Sheffield Shadows forward Emily Turner doubled Great Britain's advantage, when she powered home her second in three matches on eight minutes.

Simone Jacquet gave Denmark hope when she reduced the deficit to one, just five minutes later but on 25 minutes Taylor pounced for her second of the game as GB extended their winning streak.

Next up for Great Britain is Latvia, who have also looked impressive in their early matches, racking up 16 goals from their three matches.
