IT'S DAY eight and the athletics have arrived at London 2012. Medal hopeful Jessica Ennis will get her heptathlon campaign underway and Christine Ohuruogu will also feature in the 400m.

Elsewhere Rebecca Adlington looks to defend her 800m freestyle crown and Victoria Pendleton looks to get over yesterday's disappointment with a medal in the keirin.

At Eton Dorney Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins provide Team GB with their best medal hope in the double sculls.
