SEVEN athletes from Cameroon have gone missing while competing at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS ATHLETE?: Boxer Thomas Essomba went missing along with six other Cameroon competitors
The seven competitors – five boxers, a footballer and a swimmer – are believed to have absconded into Europe for economic reasons.
A letter sent to the Cameroonian sports ministry by Team Cameroon mission head David Ojong confirmed the disappearance of the athletes.
Drusille Ngako was the first to go missing while her team-mates in the football squad prepared for a friendly against New Zealand in Coventry prior to the Games.
She was followed by swimmer Paul Ekane Edingue and boxers Thomas Essomba, Christian Donfack Adjoufack, Abdon Mewoli, Blaise Yepmou Mendouo and Serge Ambomo who all disappeared from the Olympic Village after being eliminated from their respective events during the Games.
In the build-up to the Olympics, an Ethiopian torchbearer also disappeared.
