GOLDEN boy Mo Farah opens up his campaign to complete the long-distance double as he looks to pair his 10,000 metres crown with 5,000m gold.

Elsewhere, Danny Kerry’s women will hope to upset the odds and progress to the Olympic hockey final – in their way are the favoured world No. 2 Argentina, captained by the formidable Luciana Aymar.

On the water Beijing hero Tim Brabants bids to retain his K1 1000m title while Team GB’s women compete in the K4 500m final.

09.38 CANOE SPRINT – Action at Eton Dorney starts with Tim Brabants in the K1 1000m men’s final, followed by Richard Jefferies in the C1 1000m B final.

Great Britain’s women also take to the water for the K4 women’s 500m final.

10.00 Onwards ATHLETICS – Steven Lewis competes in the men’s pole vault qualifying and Sophie Hitchon represents Great Britain in the women’s hammer throw qualifying.

Daniel Awde is in action in the first of his men's decathlon events as he competes in the 100m, long jump, shot put, high jump and 400m.

After winning gold in the 10,000m on Saturday, Mo Farah is back on the track – this time in the men’s 5000m heats along with Nick McCormick, and Lindsay Sharp will run in the women’s 800m heats.

12.00 EQUESTRIAN - Scott Brash, Ben Maher and Nick Skelton compete in the jumping individual final round A, with round B to follow at 14.55. They will be hoping for more medals after clinching a first jumping team gold in 60 years on Monday.

12.00 Onwards GYMNASTICS – Great Britain compete in the group all-round qualification first rotation as well as the individual all-round qualification rotations one and two.

12.00 SAILING – Great Britain’s women feature in the 470 races nine and ten, and the men, who currently sit in fifth overall, go for gold in the final 49er medal race.

Team GB’s women then race in the Elliott 6m WMR knockout quarter-finals matches three, four and five.

13.45: BOXING – Second seed Nicola Adams faces Chungneijang Mery Kom Hmangte of India in the women’s fly semi-final, but is already guaranteed a medal after progressing this far.

15.00 Onwards CYCLING – Former world champion Shanaze Reade and Liam Phillips will look to continue Team GB’s cycling dominance in the BMX.

19.00 DIVING – Monique Gladding and Stacie Powell compete in the women’s 10m platform preliminary round at the Aquatics Centre.

19.15 ATHLETICS – Lawrence Clarke and Andrew Turner compete in the semi-finals of the men’s 110m hurdles after qualifying with exactly the same time of 13.42 seconds.

Mervyn Luckwell aims to qualify from the men’s javelin Group B and Christian Malcolm runs in the men’s 200m third semi-final.

In the women’s 1,500m semi-final one, Lisa Dobriskey and Hannah England are in action, and Laura Weightman in the second while Shara Proctor looks to leap for a medal in the women’s long jump.

20.00 HOCKEY – Great Britain’s women face Argentina in their semi-final tie and will be looking to put their last two losses in the qualifying stages behind them.

20.25 Onwards BOXING – Thomas Stalker fights against Munkh-Erdene Uranchimeg in his light-welterweight quarter-final bout.
