OLYMPICS LONDON 2012: Team GB schedule - Saturday August 12th

The end is in sight and British involvement is still bringing in the gold medals as nation's favourite Mo Farah looks to complete an Olympic double in the 5,000 metres.

Annie Last will be hoping for gold in the women's mountain biking before Christina Ohuruogu will hopefully lead her 4x400m to a medal.

Then it's all eyes on the ExCel in an Anglo-Irish bout between Luke Campbell and John Joe Nevin will raise the roof as they fight for bantamweight gold.

08.45: MODERN PENTATHLON - In the men's event, Sam Weale and Nick Woodbridge compete in the men's fencing, swimming and riding, and finish with the final combined event at 18.45.

09.00: ATHLETICS - Dominic King competes in the men's 50km race walk, which defending champion Alex Schwazer was disqualified from earlier in the week for doping.

In a third canoe medal chance of the day, duo Liam Heath and Jon Schofield race in the men's K2 200m sprint final.

10.00: DIVING - Tom Daley competes in the men's 10m platform semi-final after progressing through yesterday's preliminary round. If they qualify for the final, they will be back in action at 20.30 tonight.

12.00: MOUNTAIN BIKING - Annie Last races for gold in the women's cross country.

15.30: HOCKEY - Great Britain's men for Australia in the bronze medal match after their 9-2 thrashing by the Netherlands in the semi-finals.

17.00: ATHLETICS - Johanna Jackson competes in the women's 20km race walk at The Mall.

19.30: ATHLETICS - Mo Farah is back in action after winning gold in the 10,000m earlier in the week - this time he hopes to win a medal in the 5,000m final.

The women will run in the 4x400m final at 20.25 before the night's athletics is completed with the men's 4x100m relay final.

20.45: BOXING - Luke Campbell takes to the ring for the men's bantamweight final against Ireland's John Joe Nevin, with silver secured but gold in sight.
