OLYMPICS LONDON 2012: Team GB schedule - Sunday August 13th

On the final day of the Olympics there are still plenty of chances for third-placed Great Britain to add to their medal tally and put the cherry on a successful home Games.

Samantha Murray and Mhairi Spence compete throughout the day in the women's modern pentathlon before Liam Killeen looks for gold in the men's mountain bike cross country final.

Team GB's action concludes at the ExCel where boxers Freddie Evans and Anthony Joshua are both guaranteed silver medals but will be looking to win their finals and claim gold instead.

08.00: MODERN PENTATHLON - The day's action starts early for Samantha Murray and Mhairi Spence as they compete in the women's fencing as part of their modern pentathlon event.

Swimming and riding follow in the afternoon before the combined final at 18.00 completes the event.

11.00: ATHLETICS - Lee Merrien and Scott Overall run for gold in the men's marathon at The Mall.

13.30: CYCLING MOUNTAIN BIKING - Liam Killeen competes in the men's cross country event at Hadfield Farm alongside 49 other competitors.

14.15: BOXING - In the men's welterweight final, Freddie Evans fights second seed Serik Sapiyev for gold after defeating top seed Shelestyuk in the semi-final.

15.15 BOXING - Second seed Anthony Joshua is in the ring for the super-heavy weight final against defending Olympic champion Roberto Cammarelle.
