Hufner's victory moves her into a slender lead of the overall standings while second place went to team-mate Natalie Geisenberger.

German sliders also took the next two spots - Anke Wischnewski completing the podium and Corinna Martini finishing fourth.

World champion Erin Hamlin - who ended Germany's long dominance of the top places in Lake Placid earlier this year - claimed fifth to secure her qualification for next year's Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Next week the FIL World Cup circuit moves to Lillehammer.
