SCOT Freyja Prentice was the most impressive British qualifier to Wednesday's final at the Modern Pentathlon World Junior Championships.

The 19-year old from Inverurie scored 4124 points in her semi-final to advance in seventh place in Kaoshiung, Chinese Taipei.

Prentice made her senior World Cup debut earlier this year - beating six Olympians to record an impressive top-ten finish in Mexico City.

Meanwhile, British team-mates Katy Burke, Charlotte Grandfield and Lydia Rosling also advanced.
