Weale and Woodbridge miss out in Brazil
BRITISH Olympians Sam Weale and Nick Woodbridge missed out on the medals at the Modern Pentathlon World Cup Final in Rio de Janeiro.

SHOT IN THE FOOT: Former world youth champion Nick Woodbridge fails to take advantage of impressive swim and show jumping stages
Hungary's Adam Marosi was the favourite in Brazil, having struck gold at the World Championships in Crystal Palace last month.
And the Hungarian didn't disappoint, finishing with a total of 6056 points ahead of Ukraine's Pavlo Tymoshchenko in silver and Italian Federico Giancamilli in bronze.
Weale was the best of the two Brits, finishing 18th overall with 5712 points after the seventh fastest swim earned him 1300 points and a combined running and shooting time of 12.10.00 minutes won another 2440.
Woodbridge was better placed than his fellow Brit going into the final combined event after producing the fastest swim of the day and the ninth best show jumping performance.
But a time of 13.13.00 minutes in the combined running and shooting stage cost the former World Youth Champion and he finished 24th with 5516 points.
The women's event takes place in the early hours of Monday morning with Katy Livingston, Mhairi Spence and Olympic silver medallist Heather Fell all in with a medal chance.

Same old story for these
Same old story for these chaps. Woodbridge is a very strong swimmer and has got himself into a good position going into the run/shoot throughout the year but he's really struggling with the new format. It's a shame because we might have had a potential champion on our hands.
