Olympic silver medallist Krungolcas held off the challenge of team-mate Justinas Kinderis while Russia's Maxim Kuznetsov completed the podium.

Great Britain's David Atkinson finished 29th in his first World Cup final - although team coach Jan Bartu was delighted with the 24-year old's performance.

"It was an achievement for David to qualify for the finals and we recognise that," he said.

"He can be satisfied with the hard put he put in preparing for this.

"This was what we expected from David at this stage of his preparation. It was the best performance of his life."
