My first and last....with Michael Rimmer
PERSISTENT injury problems plagued Michael Rimmer's 2009 season and ensured his trip to Berlin was not a happy one, but the middle distance ace has every intention of bouncing back next season.

Here he is talking foul play, Linford Christie and Liverpool FC with Sportsbeat's David Jordan.....
My first pair of spikes: I seem to recall they were some sort of Puma ones. I remember I used them for absolutely everything. On the track, cross country, the lot
My first medal: I remember that well - it was when I was 11 in the Merseyside Championships.
I came second in the 1500m and got silver but I was cut up with 100m to go! It was a terrible miscarriage of justice.
My first competition: That was at an open meeting in Blackpool. I think I was only nine at the time. I enjoyed it though - I came second in one race but finished first in the 600m.
My first international appearance: I earned my first international vest when I was 15. I had the chance to represent Great Britain at the World Youth Championships in Debrecen in Hungary. I went out in the heats but it was a great experience nonetheless.
My first Olympic memory: I've got a distance memory of Linford Christie winning 100m gold in Barcelona in 1992 but my first really vivid memory is Michael Johnson's exploits at Atlanta 1996.
My first job: I've never been in the real world in that sense but when I was a lot younger I did help out with a paper round.
My first major injury: Fortunately I've not had anything that I would consider to be a major injury but 2009 was littered with a number of smaller problems.
My first girlfriend: I think I was 11 at the time and her name was Holly.
My last album: I've recently bought Tongue N Cheek by Dizzee Rascal.
My last film: I went and saw This Is It - the Michael Jackson film not very long ago.
My last holiday: That was to Florida.
My last takeaway: A Chinese.
My last victory in competition: There were too few in 2009, but I believe it was the World Trials back in July.
My last sporting event attended as a fan: I made it down to Anfield quite recently to see Liverpool playing.
