Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics DAY ten of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver saw American maverick Bode Miller finally clinch his first Olympic gold medal with a stunning slalom run in the super combined.

The 32-year-old, who had already picked up one bronze and one silver medal in Vancouver, was placed seventh after the downhill section but roared back to finally stand atop the Olympic podium.

Meanwhile, the USA's men's ice hockey team overcame Canada 5-3 in a thrilling match at Canada Hockey Place as the Americans got revenge for their 5-2 defeat in the 2002 Olympic final in Salt Lake City.

A late Sidney Crosby goal gave Canada hope of a dramatic late comeback but a stunning sliding finish from Ryan Kesler wrapped up victory for the USA.

Here's a review of all the day's events from Sportsbeat's team in Vancouver.
