KEEP REFRESHING FOR REGULAR UPDATES FROM VANCOUVER
20:50 (-8 GMT): That brings the live action to an end on day 15 in Vancouver but stay tuned for all the reaction from Canada's nervy win over Slovakia
20:45 (-8 GMT): Canada sneak into final but will have to play much better if they are to take revenge on the USA
20:42 (-8 GMT): This is backs to the wall stuff! Oh my! What a sitter! Pavel Demitra misses an open goal to equalise for Slovakia with just seconds left on the clock!
20:36 (-8 GMT): Unbelievable scenes at Canada Hockey Place. Complacency has set into the Canadian ranks and two quick goals from Slovakia has sent panic gushing through the hosts
20:20 (-8 GMT):
And in some more mayhem at ther Pacific Coliseum, relay gold goes to Canada as Charles Hamelin and Francois-Louis Tremblay impress again while silver goes to China and the USA clinch bronze
That means Apolo Anton Ohno does get his hands on an eighth Winter Olympic medal
19:59 (-8 GMT): Finally a bit of good news for Great Britain as Jon Eley clinches the victory on the line to ensure a sixth-place finish
19:50 (-8 GMT): Great Britain are in the B Final in a head-to-head battle with Germany. The British quartet is Jon Eley, Anthony Douglas, Jon Eley, Jack Whelbourne and Paul Worth
19:49 (-8 GMT): Canada go 3-0 as Ryan Getzlaf gets his name onto the scoresheet - all eyes are turning to Sunday's final already
19:48 (-8 GMT): We've still got the men's 5000m relay final to come in the Pacific Coliseum so Apolo Anton Ohno might just get the chance to add to his seven Olympic medals
19:42 (-8 GMT): Meng Wang powers home in the women's 1000m to take gold ahead of the USA's Katherine Reutter - there was more drama in that final as well
19:26 (-8 GMT): Chaos in the short track 500m final as Apolo Anton Ohno crosses the line in silver medal place, only to be disqualified as Si-Bak Sung and Francois-Louis Tremblay hit the deck on the final corner - read all about it here
GOLD goes to Canada's Charles Hamelin!
19:16 (-8 GMT): Jon Eley comes third in the B final - if all four A finallists he'll take bronze! If not, he'll finish seventh....
19:13 (-8 GMT): Here we go......it's the B final in the men's 500m first. If Jon Eley wins this he will equall his position of four years ago in Turin
19:03 (-8 GMT): There's ten minutes to go until the men's 500m short track final while the first period in the men's ice hockey has drawn to a conclusion - that spells tea-break me thinks!
19:00 (-8 GMT): It's 2-0 to Canada. Brenden Morrow gives the hosts the cushion they wanted
18: 59 (-8 GMT): The women's short track 1000m semis are over and Yang Zhou has set a new world record in qualifying to advance along with Seung-Hi Park, China's Meng Wang and the USA's Katherine Reutter
18:56 (-8 GMT): The deadlock has been broken at Canada Hockey Place and Patrick Marleau converted Shea Weber's specualtive shot to hand Canada the lead
18:50 (-8 GMT): So the completed line-up for the men's 500m short track final and it's Apolo Anton Ohno vs. Charles Hambelin vs. Francois-Louis Tremblay vs. Si-Bak Sung
18:46 (-8 GMT): Defending champion Apolo Anton Ohno scorches home while Canada's Francois-Louis Tremblay but Korea's Lee Ho-Suk is out!
18:45 (-8 GMT): I spoke too soon! Jon Eley come fourth after Canada's Olivier Jean is disqualified - still Eley doesn't qualfiy though I'm afraid
18:44 (-8 GMT): Oh no! Jon Eley is last and that is Great Britain's Winter Olympics effectively over (no offence Adam McLeish or the men's four-man bob)
18:40 (-8 GMT): Very tough semi for Jon Eley - Charles Hamelin and Si-Bak Sung, the world record, holder both feature - the Brit is up against it
18:30 (-8 GMT): There's a 15 minute break until the men's 500m short track semis in the Pacific Coliseum - come on Jon Eley!
18:28 (-8 GMT): Meng Wang powers through to the semis. The action from Canada Hockey Place is just moments away!
18:24 (-8 GMT): Meng Wang of China taking to the ice now, she's just one of the skaters going for her third gold medal of the Games
18:19 (-8 GMT): Meanwhile we're just ten minutes away from Canada's men's ice hockey semi final with Slovakia - MASSIVE!
18:12 (-8 GMT): No major casualties in the men's 500m but good news that Jon Eley is into the semis. Women's 1000m quarters now - Seung-Hi Park romps home in the first while it's Yang Zhou in dominant form again in the second heat
That was an Olympic record from Zhou - very impressive
18:05 (-8 GMT)
Another mistake from Cheryl Bernard hands Anette Norberg gold
18:03 (-8 GMT:)
Finally a bit of good news for Great Britain - Jon Eley wins his quarter final ahead of Apolo Anton Ohno and is into the semis - a crash between Thibaut Fauconnet and Tyson Heung sees the latter advanced
Charles Hamelin of Canada has already posted an Olympic record
17:55 (-8 GMT): It's very tense on the curling rink - Sweden have taken a time out as each team has two stones left
17:44 (-8 GMT): Stunned silence at the Vancouver Olympic Centre as we head into the 11th end
17:43 (-8 GMT): And she's not done it! She's let Anette Norberg back in. But the Swede must still produce to goods to force an extra end
17:42 (-8 GMT): It looks very good for Cheryl Bernard here.......a relative simple shot for victory
17:40 (-8 GMT): This is looking good for Canada. Anette Norberg badly needs a good stone here
17:27 (-8 GMT): A steal for Canada and Cheryl Bernard takes a two-shot lead into the last end......
17:20 (-8 GMT): In a nervous ninth end, Sweden's Anette Norberg hits Cheryl Bernard's guard. This could end up as a match-winning end for Canada!
17:05 (-8 GMT): This final is going right to the wire. Things are getting cagey and a blanked end is looking on the cards
16:50 (-8 GMT): A tumultous roar at the Vancouver Olympic Centre as Canada march into the lead at 5-4!
16:39 (-8 GMT): There's a wee break in action everywhere else in Vancouver but the curling final is beginning to hot up......
16:35 (-8 GMT): Canada's Cheryl Bernard shows nerves of steel with an excellent final stone to reduce to Swedish lead to one
16:18 (-8 GMT): Norberg scores one but that last stone touched the other scoring stone just away from the button. But it just about stays closer than Bernard's and Sweden claim the double score to go 4-2 up at the break.
Job well done so far for Sweden.
16:02 (-8 GMT): It is very much advantage Sweden at the Vancouver Olympic Centre. They keep Canada's Cheryl Bernard to just one score in the fourth end and have last stone advantage in the fifth, at 2-2.
15:51 (-8 GMT): Another track record for Holcomb. He goes first. He's got gold in the bag if you ask me. It wasn't perfect but it was so quick.
He is the only pilot to duck under 51 seconds on the track - and he's done it twice in two runs.
That second run was 50.86 seconds. He leads by 0.40 at the half-way point.
15:48 (-8 GMT): Double score for Sweden in that third end. Norberg doing the business. Here's Cheryl Bernard with the hammer in the fourth.
Canada's Lyndon Rush goes first - he's 0.04 ahead of Lange.
15:46 (-8 GMT): Lange very, very, very nearly goes over there. That WOULD have been a shock. But the defending champ goes top. 0.25 seconds faster than Rueegg.
Two contenders to go. Canada's Lyndon Rush first, then world champion Steven Holcomb of the USA.
15:45 (-8 GMT): Florschuetz goes second behind Rueegg. ANDRE LANGE new start record!
15:43 (-8 GMT): USA men's ice hockey coach Ron Wilson has been speaking after his team's emphatic semi-final victory against Finland.
He's claiming he doesn't care who they play in the final! The second semi-final between Canada and Slovakia takes place later tonight.
15:41 (-8 GMT): Karl Angerer goes third. Can't beat Rueegg, can't beat Lueders. Is the track slowing?
15:39 (-8 GMT): Canada 2 can't beat Switzerland's Ivo Rueegg so Pierre Lueders slots into second. He's furious about something though and immediately goes to check underneath the sled - very odd!
Here come the Germans - Angerer, Florschuetz, Lange (in that order)
15:37 (-8 GMT): Bit of a break in the bobsleigh as they check the track.
15:35 (-8 GMT): Norberg keeps Canada down to just one score in that second end of the women's curling final.
It's Canada 1 - 0 Sweden and Norberg has the hammer for the third end.
15:30 (-8 GMT): What a shocker. Another crash at Whistler Sliding Centre. It's USA's John Napier. He's not just some mug either - he's a guy who's won on the World Cup this season.
This track takes no prisoners that's for sure.
15:22 (-8 GMT): Speaking of the perils of the Whistler Sliding Centre, Australian luger Hannah Campbell-Pegg is auctioning her suit to raise money for the family of the late Nodar Kumaritashvili.
Really nice gesture.
15:18 (-8 GMT):
Another crash for John Jackson and co. It's a similar place to where he crashed in the two man. They were looking great as well. Fastest start of the second run so far.
Dan Money hurls his helmet on the floor after they eventually reach the finish on their backs. Jackson's going to be having nightmares about this track for a few years I'd expect.
15:14 (-8 GMT): They're into the first end of the women's curling final. Canada v Sweden.
15:13 (-8 GMT): Drama at the Sliding Centre (again). The Czech Republic quartet had big problems getting into the sled there.
Great Britain up next - can they move into the top ten with a good run here?
14:45 (-8 GMT): British bobsleigh pilot John James Jackson is content with his first run
"We're happy with that, it was a good run. It's good to get our first run under our belts today," he said.
"We were pleased with the top, but like everyone else we're still having problems with 11, 12 and 13. We made good progress and we're looking forward to the second run."
14:36 (-8 GMT): The USA's Steven Holcomb leads the way after the first four-man bobsleigh run - read more here
14:22 (-8 GMT): Meanwhile, we have a USA v Canada set for the final of the speed skating men's team pursuit. USA beat the Netherlands in their semi final - good result.
14:20 (-8 GMT): It's getting tense at the Richmond Olympic Oval. The men's team pursuit semi finals are on the ice and Canada set an Olympic record of 3:42.22 minutes to win the first semi against Norway.
USA v Netherlands in the second semi.

You Win Some You Lose Some
This was an amazing game as I thought it was over when that hottie Cheryl Bernard got the steal in the 9th and had a 6-4 lead.
