KEEP REFRESHING FOR REGULAR UPDATES FROM VANCOUVER
With just a day left of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, attentions are already beginning to turn elsewhere
Figure skating gold medallist Kim Yu-Na is dreaming of a home Olympics in 2018
21:30 (-8 GMT): That concludes the live action from the penultimate day of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Stay tuned though, because we've got reaction from Finland's dramatic victory over Slovakia
And we'll hear from both Canada and the USA ahead of their ice hockey showdown on Sunday - here's what Brian Burke has to say on the matter
21:15 (-8 GMT): GOAL! Slovakia are raining shot after shot on the Finland goal but with thier goaltender pulled, they left themselves open at the back - 5-3 - GAME OVER
21:05 (-8 GMT): GOAL! GOAL! Oh no! It's all gone pear-shaped for Slovakia as a quick-fire double from Olli Jokinen has put Finland 4-3 up
20:45 (-8 GMT): GOAL! 3-2 to Slovakia - Finland are right back in it as Kimmo Timonen nets
20:23 (-8 GMT) GOAL! 3-1 to Slovakia - Pavol Demitra, who missed that excellent chance to move to 3-3 with Canada fires Slovakia into a 3-1 lead with his side short-handed - the upset is on! Just one period left
20:15 (-8 GMT): GOAL! 2-1 to Slovakia - Marian Hossa nets to put the unfancied Slovakians 2-1
20:05 (-8 GMT): GOAL! Slovakia are level halfway through the second period - Marian Gaborik fires home!
19:45 (-8 GMT): First intermission in the hockey - Finland have a slender lead but Slovakia are by no means out of it
19:30 (-8 GMT): The deadlock has been broken at Canada Hockey Place - and it's none other than Vancouver Canucks' Sami Salo
19:15 (-8 GMT): A cagey start to the bronze medal match. Very little has happened yet. It seems to be the calm before tomorrow's storm
19:00 (-8 GMT): At Canada Hockey Place, the action has just kicked off with Finland facing Slovakia for men's ice hockey bronze
18:40 (-8 GMT): Meanwhile, over in Whistler, Giuliano Razzoli has confirmed what we suspected - he has none other than Alberto 'la Bomba' Tomba to thank for his Olympic slalom gold medal
18:20 (-8 GMT): During this lull in action, Sportsbeat's James Toney has taken the opportunity to reflect on his time in Vancouver - read more here
18:00 (-8 GMT): There's an hour's break in action now before the men's ice hockey bronze medal match between Slovakia and Finland
But there is plenty going on in Vancouver still. For starters, Sochi 2014 are promising big things at the handover ceremony tomorrow
17:49 (-8 GMT) So the Vancouver Winter Olympics are winding down. There's only the men's bronze medal match left today before the lung-busting 50km cross-country mass start tomorrow........and then the big one
17:45 (-8 GMT)
And that's it - Kevin Martin takes gold and with it Canada's 13th of the Vancouver Winter Olympics
17:42 (-8 GMT): It's going to be Martin who has the final stone in the Vancouver Olympic Centre, but wait, first there's another rendition of O Canada ringing out
17:30 (-8 GMT): Both teams are going through the motions here - it's a matter of if and not when Kevin Martin takes victory
17:20 (-8 GMT): A big shot here for Kevin Martin - and it's perfect, He takes a 6-3 lead going into the final end - Norway need miracles now
17:15 (-8 GMT): Things have got very tense on the curling rink. Thomas Ulsrud is asking Kevin Martin questions but so far he's found the answers
17:05 (-8 GMT): It's 5-3 to Canada with two ends remaining - Donald Sutherland's grin is getting wider by the minute
16:49 (-8 GMT): Donald Sutherland is cheering on Kevin Martin's curling team - they are 5-2 up after seven ends - Sportsbeat's James Toney, in Vancouver
16:37 (-8 GMT): Dissention in the ranks in the Canada team. Are Kevin Martin and co finally starting to crack?
16:30 (-8 GMT): Game on, Norway pull it back to 3-2 with four ends remaining
16:10 (-8 GMT): Thomas Ulsrud comes up millimetres short in the fifth end and that hands Kevin Martin a 3-0 lead at the halfway point
15:58 (-8 GMT): Canada have moved 2-0 up in a cagey men's curling final - Kevin Martin's 100 per cent streak is still looking good
15:45 (-8 GMT): Canada draw first blood in the men's curling final - Kevin Martin is 1-0 up after three ends
15:15 (-8 GMT): Seven sleds to go in the men's bobsleigh now - surely gold is Steven Holcomb's to lose?
15:00 (-8 GMT): The men's curling final is underway as Kevin Martin of Canada meets Norway's Thomas Ulsrud - argyle trousers and all
14:53 (-8 GMT): Not a bad effort from John Jackson and crew. They go first with 16 left to go. But that's an unfair reflection on their peformance because they lost loads of time with that crash in their second run.
14:51 (-8 GMT): Here come the Brits for their final run of the four-man bobsleigh. The last British performance in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Come on lads! ![]()
14:41 (-8 GMT): There's another one!
Germany have defended their women's speed skating team pursuit title with Japan second and Poland third.
14:33 (-8 GMT):
The golds are coming thick and fast here in Vancouver! Italy's Giuliano Razzoli holds on to his lead to capture his country's first alpine medal of the Games in the last alpine event!
Gold for Razzoli, silver for Croatia's Ivica Kostelic and bronze for Sweden's Andre Myhrer.
14:25 (-8 GMT):
Incredible gold for Jasey Jay Anderson in the parallel giant slalom. Two golds for Canada in the space of as many minutes.
14:20 (-8 GMT): Poland take women's team pursuit speed skating bronze, beating the USA by about 1.5 seconds - Japan against Germany in the final
14:18 (-8 GMT): This is a shock - Julien Lizeroux is really struggling in his second slalom run and ends up fourth - seven men to come and Andre Myhrer of Sweden
14:15 (-8 GMT):
The Canadian trio have taken men's team pursuit gold ahead of the USA. The Netherlands chalked up a new Olympic record in taking bronze
14:08 (-8 GMT): Shambolic. Detkov couldn't tell when his gates were open and he crashed out of the gates. Really cruel on the Russian and this plays against Anderson who goes second in the big final.
14:07 (-8 GMT): It's a technical problem! Not the weather. They've lost the sound and timer machines after rain has gotten into the machinery. So there's no sound.
14:06 (-8 GMT): There's a bit of a break in the snowboarding at Cypress Mountain.
Foggy weather and high winds has rendered the course a little bit dangerous right now so there's a nasty wait for the second runs of the small and big finals. Couldn't happen at a worse time really.
13:59 (-8 GMT): Marc Gini of Switzerland is the early leader in the second run of the men's slalom
13:55 (-8 GMT): A spot of good news for Sven Kramer after his coach's error cost him the 10,000m gold. He teams up with Mart Tuitert and Jan Blokhuijsen to take bronze in a new Olympic record time
13:47 (-8 GMT): Much better from John James Jackson and co - they're now lying 18th after posting the 14th fastest time of the run
13:45 (-8 GMT): And in Whistler, the Great Britain quartet are about to take their third run
13:44 (-8 GMT): After a wee break at the Richmond Olympic Oval, we're all set to get back underway with the four medal races
13:39 (-8 GMT): Snowboarding update - Canada will get at least silver as Jasey Jay Anderson progresses to big final - he'll face World Cup leader Benjamin Karl in that
13:33 (-8 GMT) Steven Holcomb's lead in the four-man bobsleigh is pretty much unassailable. It's going to take a crash I think to stop him from winning - but then there is corner 13..........
13:24 (-8 GMT): Canada, perhaps still piqued after their defeat to the USA, don't hold back and romp into fifth place and miss the Olympic record by whiskers
13:21 (-8 GMT): Somewhat oddly, in the speed skating, their doing the women's classifcation races before there are any medal races
Russia beat Korea for seventh while there's a huge clash for fifth - world record holders Canada versus the Netherlands in a re-run of the 2009 World Championships final
